Port Agency Representation
Our company acts as a local representative for a ship's owner or operator to manage all aspects of a vessel's call at all Honduran ports. We are responsible for handling logistical, administrative, and regulatory tasks to ensure a ship's efficient arrival, stay, and departure, acting as the "boots on the ground" in the port.
Key responsibilities include:
Administration and documentation: Managing all necessary paperwork, customs, and government procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Vessel and crew support: Handling crew-related needs such as immigration, medical assistance, and crew changes, and arranging supplies and repairs.
Liaison and communication: Serving as the main point of contact between the ship, its owner/operator, and local authorities, service providers, and cargo stakeholders.
Vessel husbandry
Our Agency has more than five decades of experience of comprehensive management, maintenance, and upkeep of a ship and its affairs while in port, including tasks like cleaning, repairs, and equipment maintenance, as well as managing the crew and handling logistics. It ensures a vessel is seaworthy, efficient, and compliant with regulations, often by performing services that prevent costly dry-docking.

Maintenance and repair: This includes general upkeep of the hull, rigging, and equipment, as well as specific repairs and cleaning services to ensure operational integrity.

Crew-related services: Services for the crew are a key part, such as arranging transportation, crew change, hotel bookings, medical assistance, visas, and general welfare support.
Administrative and customs tasks: This includes managing all necessary paperwork and coordination with local authorities for customs, immigration, and other formalities.
Stevedoring
Our Company has more than 40 years of experience managing the process of loading and unloading cargoes onto and from ships at Honduran ports. The proper stowage and securing cargo, lashing, to prevent movement during transit, as well as the transfer and storage of goods on the wharf.
